yo! im back to blog on eastraelite blog.. it has been tough for me these few weeks as i have 1 more module which is gems added onto my 7 modules.. my gems is drama appreciation.. i started out being so blur on what is drama all about.. i come into drama as jorris and shawn are also in it. i think it would be better to have someone helping me smehow as it's my first time having gems.. drama started out real tiring for me as i had many tests along the way.. it has been a long journey..i struggled to balance my time betweeen my studies, ministry and gems.. it's real difficult untill 1 point that i actually cried out on many nights.. i was so stressed out.. i am so unfaithful to the Lord at many times..
however, really wanna thank God for the people who has been reminding me to put God first rather than my studies.. yep.. and also drilled me in choosing tunes for the ringtones and everything.. i really learnt alot.. then as the day draws near for the drama test, i slog with nights sleeping after 12am to try out the sounds.. really need to come in cue or else the drama will end up real lousy.. the day before ,i actually kept trying and trying and trying.. in additon to that, i am the guitarist for caregroup for that week.. i wanna make sure that everyone's needs are ministered by the Lord in that special atmosphere- God's presence.. i am playing guitar for 3 songs on the same day as the drama test..before the drama test...
i realised i need Holy Spirit to prompt me when to click for the right sounds and strength and courage to overcome these obstacles.. i prayed quietly at my small corner in the gems class during rehearsal.. it's really tiring.. of course as God is faithful, i can share all of these to all of you.. then the drama test begin:
i tried my best with people in the group cooperate with one another.. the sounds started weirdly then i got the beat.. thank God for it that it ended well other than a few loop holes.. i am so glad that the director is so nice.. and very funny too! haha! everyone enjoyed having drama as gems.. my group is so much more united than before.. had so much fun! had so many words of affirmation from teachers, friends in the same drama group and even the poeple in caregroup who watched us! thank God for all these! then it's time for caregroup...
i have been practising playing the guitar when i worship God at home for many months.. now have to overcome my fear of playing it in front of people.. i prayed again.. God hears and answered my prayer! wow! i am so amazed that people actually raised up their hands to surrender during worship! i am so surprised and amazed that i was so calm too! it is a huge a breakthrough for me after so many years... when the whole unit seperate into caregourps such as eastrealites and occidental, i played another worship song on a guitar.. it's amazing!! God is so cool! joella share what God spoke to her.. yi heng prayed for very long.. jeremy led worship well.. wow! minstering sia.. thank God for His presence among our midst!
all honour and blessing and power belongs to you, belongs to you :>

Hi people,
Let us all be thankful for all the great things which the Lord has done in our life.
Let us all be thankful for all the tough times that we have been through, for it moulds us.
It is good to be grateful but it is even better to be faithful, be faithful to what the Lord
has given to you. For it is stated, freely you received, freely you give... that's what giving
all about, giving what that we have freely receive from God. Let us be a good steward, who
are faithful to what is given to them and handle them with care. And
not be a bad servant, who covet what has been entrusted to them.
Matthew 10:8
Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. Freely you have received, freely give
1 Timothy 4:4
For everything God created is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving,
Let us be grateful all for that has been given to us, and give it to others. Let us not withhold
ourselves from giving our best, for God also given you his best. Grace and peace be on you, fellow brothers and sisters. Amen.

Thankfulness depends on what is in your heart, not what is in your hand.
Most people have no trouble finding things to complain about: traffic is slow, gas is too expensive, the weather is bad, prices are too high. Yet in every single situation, that same person also has a lot to be thankful for: he can drive, has a car, has a shelter to be protected from the weather, and has the money to purchase necessary items.
Your circumstances may not be all that great, but wherever you are it is God's will that you give thanks in everything (1 Thessalonians 5:18). As a Christian, that is possible because no matter what your circumstances are, you can always thank God for deliverance through Christ (2 Corinthians 2:14; Romans 7:24-25).
Indeed, the Israelites knew that thanksgiving was so important that part of the official duty of the tribe of Levi was to thank God: They were also to stand every morning to thank and praise the Lord (1 Chronicles 23:30). They had heart of thankfulness and were instructed to be thankful regardless of what happened that day.
The psalmist wrote: Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name (Psalm 100:4). Notice that we can't even enter God's gates unless we're thankful.
It certainly is possible to live giving thanks to God the Father for everything (Ephesians 5:20), because thankfulness depends on what is in your heart, not what is in your hand.
